LYRIC ARCHITECTURE: V-C-V-C
VERSE I: In the dust I lay, a broken heart, a piece of clay; ashamed of who I was and what I had done. And yet the crowd my heart not knowing, would end my life in anger throwing stones. You entered there upon that moment and my life was changed. I lifted my eyes and found compassion in return. Where others would despise, You give forgiveness and concern. I cannot understand how far You see the life of me.
CHORUS: I love the way You love me. I love the way You speak my name. I love the way You hold me closer, every time I say I love the way that You love me.
VERSE II: As I stood with You, I heard Your words. I walked along. I witnessed every day what You could do. And yet for fear of my life losing, I would betray You, Lord, in choosing to turn around and walk away. You entered there upon that moment and my life was changed. I lifted my eyes and found compassion in return. Where others would despise, You give forgiveness and concern. I cannot understand how far You see the life of me.
